SMS Terms of Service
These SMS Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SMS notification service provided through the Onysko WineTech platform, operated by Onysko Wine Tech LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By providing a phone number and completing the consent gate at app.owinetech.com/welcome/sms, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service Description
The Onysko WineTech SMS notification service delivers transactional operational alerts to authorized account holders. Notification categories include production scheduling updates (racking, bottling, topping coordination), lab analysis results (free SO2, pH, brix, and other QC measurements), bottling campaign coordination, account onboarding messages, and other operational alerts directly related to your account activity at the federally bonded production facility where Onysko WineTech is deployed.
We do not send marketing, promotional, or solicitation messages via SMS. All messages are transactional and operational in nature, sent in connection with your authorized use of the Onysko WineTech platform.
2. Eligibility and Opt-In
SMS access is available only to authorized account holders of the Onysko WineTech platform. To opt in:
- Receive an emailed invitation to register at app.owinetech.com from an authorized account administrator at the deployed facility.
- Complete account registration and authenticate via Firebase.
- On first authentication, you will be routed to the SMS consent gate at app.owinetech.com/welcome/sms before accessing platform functionality.
- The consent gate displays the brand identifier "Onysko WineTech", complete CTIA-compliant disclosure including message and data rate notices, message frequency notice, STOP and HELP keyword instructions, and links to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
- You must affirmatively check the consent box for each phone number you wish to enroll. Checkboxes default to unchecked. No phone number is enrolled without your explicit consent action.
- On submission, your consent is recorded with timestamp, IP address, and the exact disclosure text version, for compliance audit purposes.
We do not send unsolicited SMS messages. We do not enroll phone numbers without your affirmative consent through the consent gate.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your account activity and the operational schedule at the facility where Onysko WineTech is deployed. Typical recipients receive between zero and ten messages per week, with frequency higher during active production periods (harvest, bottling campaigns) and lower during off-season periods. There is no fixed schedule.
4. Message and Data Rates
Onysko WineTech does not charge you directly for SMS messages. However, your mobile carrier may charge for messages received or sent under your wireless service plan. Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier for details.

- SMS service is provided through Twilio. Your phone number is used only for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Keywords and Opt-Out
The following SMS keywords are supported:
- STOP (also STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) — Reply with any of these keywords to immediately unsubscribe from all Onysko WineTech SMS notifications. You will receive a confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent to your number until you opt back in.
- HELP (also INFO) — Reply with either keyword to receive support contact information.
- START (also YES, UNSTOP) — If you have previously opted out, reply with any of these keywords to resubscribe. Resubscription is only available if your account is still active and your phone number is still configured as SMS-eligible by your account administrator.
Standard message and data rates apply to inbound keyword replies in the same manner as outbound notifications. STOP/HELP/START messages are not charged separately by Onysko WineTech.
6. Carrier Coverage
The Onysko WineTech SMS service operates on major US mobile carriers. We cannot guarantee delivery on every carrier or in every region. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
7. Accuracy and Limitations
SMS notifications are generated automatically from data in the Onysko WineTech platform at the time the notification is dispatched. Notifications are informational and operational, intended to support timely awareness of production activity. They should not be treated as authoritative records for regulatory filings, financial reporting, or compliance purposes. For authoritative records, always verify information directly in the Onysko WineTech web application or in original source records (lab reports, production logs, etc.).
8. Privacy
Your use of the SMS service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. We do not share or sell your phone number, message content, or SMS opt-in consent with third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers are shared with our SMS delivery provider (Twilio) solely for the purpose of message delivery, subject to Twilio's privacy policy.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Onysko WineTech application or by email to your registered address. Continued use of the SMS service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
